Club SciKidz Treasure Coast & Palm Beaches offers enriching educational programs for children in grades PK–7th in the Treasure Coast and West Palm Beach service area and also offers themed STEM summer camps for grades PK–9th. The program states that its summer camps appeal to children who have a genuine interest in how things work, what things are made of, and how science works in the real world, and that its science programs introduce elementary school students to the mysteries of science through hands-on and “mind-on” experiments and interactive make-and-take projects. The STEM curriculum is described as exciting and interactive, featuring hands-on experiments and projects, with summer camps offering more STEM variety with three activities per day, and lessons that are based on Florida and National Science Education Standards. Lessons often include language arts, history, and mathematical concepts, and activities emphasize a child’s natural curiosity and make learning fun, with carefully researched science lessons that engage students in observation, measurement, identification of properties, and experimentation involving life, earth, and physical science concepts; each unit is rigorously researched by science educators with the help of teachers and children. The program offers extended day options for working parents and uses drop-off and pick-up check-in via the Club SciKidz App so that parents control who picks up their child, and it describes itself as “Fun, Safe & Scientific,” a top choice for STEM summer camps in Vero Beach, Stuart, Jupiter, and West Palm Beach, with 2026 registration open.

Club SciKidz was established in 1997, and beginning in 2001, Camp Young Scientist was created; in 2015, Tech Scientific was added to the name. Since 1997, more than 100,000 children have attended one or more of Club SciKidz’ science day camps or school programs, and the organization now offers 42 different themed science camps and 30 weeks of inquiry-based after-school science club experiences. Club SciKidz Treasure Coast & Palm Beaches is part of a larger organization that operates multiple summer day camp locations each year in Georgia and conducts in-school programs in the Metro Atlanta area, with additional franchises in Kentucky, Maryland, Texas, and Virginia, and new locations in California, Central Indiana, Connecticut, Kansas City, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Club SciKidz Treasure Coast is officially accredited by STEM.org.

The leadership team includes owners Bob and Sue Hagan and Treasure Coast franchise owners Lynn and Anthony Mancini. Bob and Sue have a combined 30-plus years of teaching experience and both hold a master’s degree in education. Lynn and Anthony have been franchise owners since the spring of 2023 and have had a stated passion for education since 2000; both taught in elementary school in Detroit, Michigan, prior to moving to Port St. Lucie in 2005, where they taught middle and high school students, and both received their master’s degrees in education. For summer camps in Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Jupiter, Vero Beach, and West Palm Beach, the program looks for certified teachers, college students, and outstanding high school seniors as staff.

Parent testimonials describe the program as having fun and kind, caring staff, with children coming home happy and well entertained. Parents report that their children learned a lot and had a blast, and that the teenagers and young adults who facilitated activities were “great.” Other parents state that their children loved the variety of activities, fun experiments, and interaction with other kids and counselors, calling it their favorite camp of the summer, and one parent noted that out of five different camps their kids attended, this was their favorite. Additional comments mention a safe environment, fun activities, great hours, unique activities, organized and well-run operations, and staff and directors who were thoughtful and caring.
