About

O2B Kids offers preschool and afterschool programs, classes, summer camp, birthday parties, and special events. Children can take part in gymnastics, dance, karate, cheer-leading, yoga, sports, drama, music, art, science, technology, chess, playgroups, and BrighterBabies activities. The program uses an Education SuperCenter model that combines a magical play village for unscripted play with an organized calendar of daily classes in areas such as arts, sciences, fitness, and recreation.

• Ages: 0–13 years old

O2B Kids states that it exists to help parents grow happy, successful kids. The program offers Pick-Your-Days Care as a flexible option that allows parents to choose the days that work best for their schedule. It includes innovative preschool, afterschool, and membership programs, and each location is nationally accredited or in the process of becoming nationally accredited. The organization describes itself as a place that opens minds, improves self-confidence, develops social skills, strengthens bodies, helps children discover hidden talents, promotes a passion for discovery, encourages kids to try new things, and teaches respect for people, property, and ideas.

O2B Kids was established in 1998, when the first 34,000 square-foot O2B Kids SuperCenter opened. The company notes that it has been helping children build a foundation for lifetime success for 25 years and celebrated 25 years of business in August 2023. Its leadership story begins in 1992, when best friends Andy Sherrard and Danny Stevens spent a year traveling around the world.

The program offers Founders’ Club Scholarships for preschool, afterschool, and membership. Its O2B a Kid Again fundraiser, described as a “Grown-up’s Day to Play,” has raised over $500,000 for public schools and supports public school systems in the communities it serves. O2B Kids also hosts Parent Night Fundraisers for local charities, schools, and civic organizations, and participates in community events and school carnivals with face-painters and balloon artists. Employees take part in the United Way campaign, volunteer in local schools, and serve on boards of local non-profit organizations. Students raise money and contribute to charities such as local Humane Societies, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital, UNICEF, and the Red Cross, and organize canned food drives, book drives, and teddy bear collections.

O2B Kids reports that every location is nationally accredited or in the process of becoming nationally accredited.
