About
Pasco County Summer Day Camp includes Traditional Summer Day Camp, Jay B. Starkey Nature Camp, the CIT program, and EPIC. Traditional Summer Day Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with before care from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and after care from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Weekly field trips are included in the camp price, and participants must bring their own lunch and snack each day.
Programs
- Traditional Summer Day Camp — Kids ages 5 to 12 who meet the following: use restroom without assistance, completed kindergarten, follow directions and perform routine daily tasks without one-on-one guidance, comfortable in a 17:1 camper-to-counselor ratio · Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; before care 7:30 am - 8:30 am; after care 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm · $455–$665 per week · Weekly field trips are included in the camp price. Before and after care is an option for $20 per week.
- Jay B. Starkey Nature Camp — Ages 7–12
- CIT program — Teens ages 13–17
- EPIC — Ages 8–17 with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities · An inclusive summer camp with an Inclusion Support Leader and an extra counselor, providing a 1:4 support ratio within a group of 17 campers.
