Small Fish Big Fish Swim School offers Small Fish and Me Classes for children between 2 months and 36 months, with an adult in the water. It also offers Minnow Classes for children between 2.5 and 4 years old, Class Levels for children 4 years and older, and Sweet Peas Gymnastics Classes for children six months to six years old. Private lessons are available upon request.

  • Small Fish and Me Classes — Children between the ages of 2 months to 36 months · With an adult in the water. Includes under 6 months, 6 to 15 months, 16 to 36 months, and 12 to 36 months advanced options.
  • Minnow Classes — Children between the ages of 2.5 and 4 years old · Includes Minnows, Advanced Minnows, and Super Minnows.
  • Class Levels — Children 4 years and older · Includes Level 1 - Guppies, Level 2 - Goldfish, Level 3 - Clownfish, and Level 4 - Angelfish.
  • Sweet Peas Gymnastics Classes — Children six months to six years old · Educational gymnastics program. Includes Wee Peas (6-12 Months), One Peas (1-Year-Old's), Two Peas (2-Year-Old's), and Three Peas (3-Year-Old's).
  • Private Lessons — Private lessons are available upon request. Please contact the office to set up classes.

  • General schedule: All classes are 30 minutes. The source recommends 2 days a week for the first 3 months. One Day a Week classes are held the same time and day each week. Two Days A Week lessons are recommended twice a week.

About the provider

Small Fish Big Fish Swim School was founded in 2009. The founder is Melissa Goldberg-Taylor. The instructors are typically lifeguard, CPR, and first aid certified, and the founder has been certified as a lifeguard, water safety instructor, professional CPR, First Aid, and AED administrator, and became a professional accredited pool operator in 2011. The school is a member of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance and the United States Swim School Association.

Annual membership fee of $55.00 at enrollment then every January 1st. 2 drop-ins per year are allowed without a membership fee. Under 36 months children should start in the older baby and me program if not comfortable with separation.
