Camp Gideon is a Christian camp and retreat facility that provides weekend and week long camp programs for children and youth throughout the year. The campsite and facilities are also available for events or overnight retreats, and retreat facilities are utilized by other organizations throughout the year.

Camp Gideon was formed as a non-profit organization in 1996. Its mission is to positively impact individuals from all walks of life through camp programming, leadership training and providing year-round facilities for recreation, community and spiritual growth. The organization offers practical leadership training for youth and provides camp programming, leadership training and retreat facility usage to more than 2,800 local individuals yearly. Craig and Robin Gibson serve as Camp Directors and CEO, and Bekah Lawson serves as Registrar.
Camp Gideon was established and is maintained through the work and giving of supporters and volunteers, and as a non-profit organization it relies on contributions from individuals, churches and businesses. It promotes community, volunteerism, leadership, and spiritual growth, and provides scholarships to local “at-risk” children and youth, who make up over 20% of its campers.
