Art Hive

Art Hive offers Process Art Classes that focus on how kids create their artwork rather than following step-by-step instructions. The program is run by Madison Hernandez Photo + Art LLC DBA Art Hive and is described as a space where kids learn the rules and how to break them, make bold choices, take ownership of their ideas, and find their own voice. The program emphasizes that it is not about cookie-cutter crafts and that real creativity does not happen inside the lines, with a focus on empowering kids to value the process of art making.

Art Hive states, “We Don’t Teach Kids Art . . . We teach them to think like artists,” and describes the studio as designed to keep little bodies busy and little brains curious. The mission includes empowering kids to value the process of art making.
