Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta After School & Youth Programs

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta After School & Youth Programs offers youth development programs during non-school hours in the areas of academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character and leadership. The organization also offers programs in Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character & Leadership. Metro Atlanta teens in the program take part in a Spring Break College Tour where they receive college acceptances and scholarship opportunities, and seniors participate in events such as Senior Celebration and Champions Club for GIRLS.

For more than 85 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta has operated youth programs and states that it has traditionally served nearly 8,000 kids and teens each year. The organization reports that nearly 90% of its Club kids say they feel good about their future. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is a 501(c)(3) charity and is accredited by Charity Navigator and GuideStar, and it is an equal opportunity provider.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is participating in Happy Helpings, Georgia’s Summer Food Service Program, and will offer free summer meals to youth. The organization is partnering with AmeriCorps to recruit individuals who want to support youth and is proudly supported by United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta. It also offers opportunities to volunteer, including helping with homework, tackling landscaping projects, or coaching a sports team, and offers career opportunities for trained, dedicated, and nurturing staff.
