Morningside Day Out

Morningside Day Out offers a half-day early education program, a summer camp, and after school programs. Its community activities include an in-school library, weekly music visits, visits and performances from artists, magicians, a petting zoo, and community helpers, along with parent volunteering opportunities and a Parent Sharing Program for in-class activities or demonstrations.

About the provider

Morningside Day Out says it has provided high quality secular early education programs for 40 years. It describes itself as a small, close-knit, not-for-profit school dedicated to raising good humans and welcoming everyone. Its leadership team includes Evelyn Morgan, Emile Foncha, Justine Bruce, Nicole Whitton, Brittany Willis, Gwendolyn Cummings, and Selam Wubu.

Open to any child between the ages of 6 months and 5 years as of September 1. Classes are half-day. Enrichment activities are included at no extra cost. Space permitting, an extra day may be added for $30/day. Children who miss a day with a special visit may attend with a parent or caregiver. Tuition deposit is non-refundable.
