The Fort Stewart & Hunter Youth Center is home to Middle School and Teen programs which serve youth in Grades 6–12 and includes a gymnasium, a computer lab, and other activity rooms. Organized activities such as club meetings, cooking, sports, and games are facilitated by trained Child and Youth Program Assistants. Youth and teens must be registered with CYS to participate in MST programs and Open Recreation, and middle and high school teens can fill out a form, have a parent sign it, and return it to a local Youth Program or Parent Central Services to enjoy CYS activities. CYS staff verify registration telephonically with a parent or guardian within five working days of receiving the form. This facility is now cashless, and transportation for field trips is free.
