The Actor's Scene

The Actor's Scene offers on-camera acting classes for film and television, theatre classes, improv classes, communication classes, and The Offline Communication Program. The program also offers singing lessons, private singing lessons, private acting lessons, filmmaking and production classes, an Intro to Voiceover course, Summer camps, VIP workshops, audition tapings, career coaching, virtual coaching, and a New Actor Bootcamp.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: All year-long programs have two sessions, August–December and January–May, with additional options such as a 6-week Intro to Voiceover course and a 32-week Theatre Foundations program.
• Price: Improv Foundations 4–12 year olds: 5 classes for $106; Improv Foundations 13 to adult: 5 classes for $112; On Camera Foundations 9–12 year olds: 5 classes for $125; All About Agents seminar: $125 per family; Intro to Voiceover Early Bird: ages 9–12 (1-hour class) $139, ages 13–adult (1.5-hour class) $199.

The Actor’s Scene is a Creative Arts Studio that includes a state of the art taping studio. The studio offers free class audits, free improv and/or singing classes during Open House events, free singing lessons on specific dates, and free private acting lessons on a scheduled date. Programs are structured so students can enter throughout the year as long as space is available, and class sizes are kept to 12 or fewer students per class.

Since 2003, The Actor’s Scene has helped hundreds of children, teens and adults achieve their acting dreams, and for 23 years it has helped actors identify and achieve their dreams. The mission of The Actor’s Scene is to build confidence and self-esteem in each student by celebrating and praising their individual uniqueness and talents, to instill the belief that students can be successful in the industry without compromising morals or values, and to provide a fun and safe environment for actors in the Atlanta area to grow talents and enhance acting skills in areas such as audition technique, on-camera acting for film and television, imagination, focus, motivation, characterization, believability, personality, cold read, and improv.

The leadership team includes studio owner Nicolle Campbell, Operations Director Elizabeth Alcaraz, Office Manager and Coach Leah Merritt, Fiscal Manager Lisa Mattox Downs, and Coach and Front Desk Assistant Madison Stuckey. Staff credentials include Nicolle with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Lisa as an Atlanta native who graduated magna cum laude from UNG in Dahlonega with a BBA, Adam as an actor and filmmaker with a Bachelor of Science in Film and Digital Media Production from the University of North Georgia, and Sylvia Galan with a BA in Theatre from CCNY.

The Actor’s Scene provides award winning on-camera training and acting classes for movies, television and commercials, and offers VIP learning opportunities including an annual VIP showcase which could result in agency placement and casting opportunities. Students perform in an end-of-year showcase where agents, managers, and casting directors are invited. The Actor’s Scene emphasizes soft skills development in all classes, focuses on building confidence and self-value as foundations to success, and offers a whole team of industry professionals to help students. The program offers Premium In-Person Classes, uses a state of the art taping studio, and recognizes notable growth of confidence through its Newcomer Confidence Award, including the 2026 Newcomer Confidence Award Winners. The Actor’s Scene is a proud part of the north Metro Atlanta area, offering classes in Buford, GA.
