The Actor's Scene offers on-camera acting classes for film and television, theatre classes for young actors, improv classes, communication classes, and singing lessons. The program also offers filmmaking and production classes, including Intro to Filmmaking, as well as the Offline Communication Program for non-actors, private acting lessons, audition tapings, career coaching, virtual coaching, New Actor Bootcamp, Summer Camps, and a virtual seminar called All About Agents.

The Actor’s Scene is a Creative Arts Studio that provides award-winning on-camera training and acting classes for movies, television, and commercials, and it has a state-of-the-art taping studio. Theatre Foundations is a 32-week program that covers stage direction, script analysis, character building, and more, and Theatre Foundations classes are offered for ages 4–12. Since 2003, The Actor’s Scene has helped hundreds of children, teens, and adults achieve their acting dreams, and for 23 years it has helped actors identify and achieve their dreams.
Class sizes are intentionally kept small with 12 or fewer students per class, and programs are set up so students can enter throughout the year as long as space is available. All year-long programs have two sessions (August–December and January–May), and there is an end-of-year showcase where agents, managers, and casting directors are invited to view student performances, with many students placed with agents through the showcase process. Students have access to a team of industry professionals, VIP learning opportunities, an annual VIP showcase that could result in agency placement and casting opportunities, and an Open House that is a free, drop-in event where attendees can tour the school, meet the admin, discuss options, and try a free class, including improv or communication classes.
The Actor’s Scene offers a Free Sample Class on Tuesday, 2/3, for ages 4 to adult, and families can sign up to audit a class for free. The program offers door prizes, special offers, and giveaways at each Open House day, Class Flash Sales where families can invest in 4 classes and get one free on specified classes, Early Bird Specials for Summer Camps, and a free 30-minute private acting lesson for new students that is open to the public. The leadership team includes studio owner Nicolle Campbell, Operations Director Elizabeth Alcaraz, Office Manager and Coach Leah Merritt, and Fiscal Manager Lisa Mattox Downs. Nicolle has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Lisa is an Atlanta native who graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega with a BBA, and Adam is an actor and filmmaker who grew up in Georgia and graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Film and Digital Media Production. The Actor’s Scene states that it is more than an acting school and calls itself “Confidence Makers,” and it is a proud part of the north Metro Atlanta area, offering classes in Buford, GA.
The mission of The Actor’s Scene is to build confidence and self-esteem in each student by celebrating and praising their individual uniqueness and talents, to instill the belief that students can be successful in the industry without compromising morals or values, and to provide a fun and safe environment for actors in the Atlanta area to grow their talents. The mission also includes enhancing acting skills in audition technique, on-camera acting for film and television, imagination, focus, motivation, characterization, believability, personality, cold reading, and improv. The Actor’s Scene has acting classes for all skill levels and ages 4 through adult.
