The Little Gym offers gymnastics and dance, along with kids birthday parties, camps, and a Parent Survival Night. The Little Gym is a kids’ gymnastics gym and a fun and safe place for children and parents to explore gymnastics and more.
• Ages: 4 months–12 years old
The Little Gym is the place where children ages 4 months to 12 years learn and grow through movement-based learning and imaginative play. Its programs use a Three-Dimensional Learning philosophy with a focus on physical, emotional, and life skills, and include movement-based learning and imaginative play in a positive, non-competitive spirit. Programs are described as getting kids moving, boosting their brainpower, and emphasizing social and emotional learning. Parent Survival Night is described as giving parents a break, birthday parties are described as “simply AWESOME,” and camps are described as educational and fun. The Little Gym has grown into a global community of families, instructors, and local business owners all committed to nurturing the whole child, one cartwheel at a time. The Little Gym founder Robin Wes opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington, and this year marks 50 years since The Little Gym first opened its doors. One caregiver shared, “Granddaughters live this place for activities” (Richard Boggs, Rich).
