About
Holly Springs Academy offers interactive childcare programs that include age-structured classes with lesson plans based on the Georgia Early Learning Developmental Standards (GELDS). The program includes the Georgia Pre-K Program for eligible children and a Summer Camp program for children entering Kindergarten through third grade. Children receive healthy, balanced meals throughout the day at no additional charge.

For more than 25 years, Holly Springs Academy has worked with families, parents, and children, with owner and director Wanda DiStefano facilitating child growth and development since 1997. All lead teachers at Holly Springs Academy are certified. The program’s stated mission is to meet the unique needs of children and families in the community by providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive childcare experience, including valuing children’s individual personalities, supporting learning through play, encouraging a sense of classroom community, involving parents, and providing staff with training, support, and needed materials.
Holly Springs Academy participates in the Quality Rated Program, which follows standards above the basic state licensing requirements, and is a Quality Rated Center licensed by the State of Georgia. The program participates in the Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and states that it is an equal opportunity provider. It currently serves children in the Holly Springs Elementary School district. The center describes its early childhood education setting as a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and fun.
