AR Workshop

AR Workshop offers hands-on craft classes that include group activities, private parties, summer art camps, and DIY-to-Go kits. Participants can make wood projects such as wood signs, trays, porch signs, and seasonal projects, as well as take part in candle pouring workshops where they mix scents to create their own candle and fragrance. The program also offers chunky knit blanket workshops for classic and specialty knit blankets, along with canvas workshops to create items like canvas pillows, wall hangings, tote bags, and youth aprons. Additional options include watercolor, embroidery, charcuterie, hat burning, jewelry, cookie decorating, handlettering, and texture art workshops, with tools and materials provided and ready to use.

In 2016, Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff introduced AR Workshop as a boutique DIY studio that now has more than 125 franchises across the country and is expanding to select markets in the US. The program describes itself as a destination for all things DIY and a space where participants can create and celebrate, with a wide variety of personalized projects and designs and a curated retail selection of gifts, home decor, and DIY-to-Go kits. The DIY process is guided step by step, and participants leave with home decor they made themselves, with activities described as fun for all ages. AR Workshop is accepting applications for franchise partners.
