About
Peachtree Prep Early Childhood Education includes educational field trips, school presentations, and scientific investigations as part of its program. The program offers early childhood education from infants through Pre-K and includes six dedicated classes plus Pre-K. All children are taught using the creative curriculum, and activity-based learning centers are part of the daily experience.
• Ages: 0–4 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–6:00 pm
The curriculum uses thematic units of study for Pre-K and is based on a weekly unit of study for academic advancement. Traditional academics such as alphabet recognition, math, science, art, social studies, and phonics are included in the daily routine. Teachers use lesson plans to guide the delivery of information and to address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement that are needed. Parents may supplement the curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme for the benefit of the class. The program provides comprehensive reporting on individual achievement and individual attention in a small-class setting, along with a learning program that includes after-school care. The program describes its Childhood Education Programs as more than just day care and states that it offers a challenging curriculum that is one of the most innovative programs available for young children. The environment includes learning and fun, healthy meals, a friendly place, and attention to children’s safety. The program states that it has been educating children for over fifteen years, and its goal is to create a place that engages each child.
