About
Peachtree Prep Early Childhood Program includes educational field trips, school presentations, and scientific investigations as part of its activities. The program offers early childhood education from infants through Pre-K and includes six dedicated classes plus Pre-K. All children in the program are taught using the creative curriculum.
• Ages: 0–4 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–6:00 pm
The program includes activity-based learning centers for toddlers and uses thematic units of study to formulate the curriculum for Pre-K. Traditional academics such as alphabet recognition, math, science, art, social studies, and phonics are included in the daily routine, and the academic program is based on a weekly unit of study for academic advancement. Teachers use lesson plans to guide the delivery of information and address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement, and parents may supplement the curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme.
Peachtree Prep Early Childhood Program provides six classes for infant to four-year-olds: Nurture & Love I for infants to 1 year or walking ages, Nurture & Love II for ages 12–20 months, Watch Me Grow for ages 18–24 months, Leaps & Bounds I for 2-year-olds, Leaps & Bounds II for 2–3-year-olds who are potty trained and academically ready, and Discover The World for 4-year-olds between September 2 and the end of January as an advanced preschool class. The program offers comprehensive reporting on individual achievement, individual attention in a small-class setting, a learning program with after-school care, healthy meals, a friendly place, and a focus on children’s safety.
The Ellington Road and Ebenezer Road Early Childhood Learning Centers begin accepting children at six weeks old. The program states that its childhood education programs are more than just day care and that it offers a challenging curriculum that is one of the most innovative programs available for young children. The stated goal of Peachtree Prep Early Childhood Program is to create a place that engages each child, and it has been educating children for over fifteen years.
