About
GenerateTech is a STEAM education nonprofit organization that offers a STEAM-driven after-school program, Summer Camp, immersive STEAM field trips, and a STEAM homeschool program and co-ops. The program uses hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and a hands-on, project-based STEAM program where students collaborate on real-world problems, build prototypes, conduct experiments, and use technology to design solutions. GenerateTech also offers Impact Tutoring with a hands-on, differentiated approach and fundraising using inflatables.

GenerateTech is powered by experienced educators, IT professionals, accomplished business leaders, dedicated senior volunteers, and community leaders. The organization provides STEAM education and training services to students, adults, and businesses and delivers high-quality, industry-aligned instruction at low or no cost. Its mission is to advance educational equity by providing innovative, real-world technology and workforce training to underserved and minority communities, while prioritizing inquiry-based and student-centered learning with a “zero spectators” approach where every student participates, learns, and grows.
GenerateTech promotes learning through hands-on, problem-based experiences and experimentation as a training ground for creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills, and it emphasizes a team-building culture that encourages collaboration, creative problem-solving, and respectful challenge. The program is described as a self-engaging, all-inclusive, student-centered gateway to educational and social empowerment, and as a hands-on, project-based STEAM program where every child has the same opportunity to learn, excel, and grow.
GenerateTech’s president, Mark A. Fraser, is a former high school teacher, advertising and human resources manager, and chief administrative officer of a private tertiary educational institution. Mr. Fraser holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management, has a broad range of certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft, is a certified executive career coach, and is in the dissertation phase of his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in STEM education at American College of Education. He is married to Dr. Donessa Fraser, a board-certified family physician.
Families have shared that “Words cannot describe this place. You have to experience it for yourself” (Frankie B.), “This is the only place my daughter wants to be at after school” (Jesse N.), and “My son loves the way Mr. Fraser teaches. He says that he is always inspired” (Jamie L.).
