Rockdale Tennis Center Junior Programs offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced tennis lessons for juniors through group, semi-private, and private formats. Junior group options include Junior Beginner to Intermediate Group Lessons, Tiny Tots, Red Ball One, Red Ball Two, and Orange/Yellow Ball, along with Junior Advanced Group Lessons that are by coach invitation only. One-on-one Junior Private Lessons and Junior Semi-Private Lessons priced per hour are also available.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Junior Beginner to Intermediate Group Lessons for ages 5–18 meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, with Tiny Tots at 5:00–5:45 p.m., Red Ball One at 5:00–6:00 p.m., Red Ball Two at 6:00–7:00 p.m., Orange/Yellow Ball at 6:00–7:00 p.m., and Junior Advanced Group Lessons on Fridays from 6:00–7:00 p.m.
• Price: Tiny Tots $90.00 per session; Red Ball One $120.00 per session; Red Ball Two $120.00 per session; Orange/Yellow Ball $120.00 per session; Junior Advanced Group Lessons $60.00 per session; Junior Private Lessons (one-on-one) Members: $50 per hour, $35 per ½ hour; Non-Members: $60 per hour, $45 per ½ hour; Junior Semi-Private Lessons per hour: 2 students, Members $30 per person and Non-Members $40 per person; 1½ hour class with 3 or more students, Members $25 per person and Non-Members $30 per person.
The Rockdale Tennis Center, where these junior programs take place, opened in 2009 as a 12-court, state-of-the-art community tennis center on seven acres with lighted hard courts, a pro shop, restrooms, bleachers, covered picnic tables, greenspace, and a constructed walking and biking trail surrounding the facility.
