Rockdale Tennis Center Junior Programs offer tennis instruction through beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons for juniors. The program includes Junior Beginner to Intermediate Group Lessons, Junior Advanced Group Lessons, Junior Private Lessons, and Junior Semi-Private Lessons, with specific class options such as Tiny Tots, Red Ball One, Red Ball Two, and Orange/Green/Yellow Ball. The center also offers ball machine rental for practice, with a requirement that anyone age 18 and under must have a legal guardian present when renting a ball machine.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Junior Beginner to Intermediate Group Lessons run Monday and Wednesday, with Tiny Tots (ages 5–7) from 5:00 p.m.–5:45 p.m., Red Ball One (ages 8–18) from 5:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., Red Ball Two (ages 8–18) from 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m., Orange/Green/Yellow Ball (ages 8–18) from 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m., and Junior Advanced Group Lessons (coach invitation only) on Friday from 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
• Price: Junior Beginner to Intermediate Group Lessons cost $90.00–$120.00 per session depending on class, Orange/Green/Yellow Ball costs $100.00 per session, Junior Advanced Group Lessons cost $60.00 per session, Junior Private Lessons range from $35–$60 depending on membership and lesson length, and Junior Semi-Private Lessons range from $25–$40 per person depending on group size and membership.
The center opened in 2009 and is a 12-court, state-of-the-art community tennis center on seven acres, with lighted hard courts, a pro shop, restrooms, bleachers, covered picnic tables, and greenspace, and it is surrounded by a constructed walking and biking trail.
