About

Monroe County 4-H Youth Development Programs include activities such as Cloverleaf Class Club Meetings, Cotton Boll Consumer Judging, DPA Preparation, Horse Team Judging and Quiz Bowl, Junior/Senior Leadership Council, Livestock Judging and Show Teams, the S.A.F.E. Shotgun Team, Summer Camp, and a 4-H archery club. Monroe County 4-H provides programs for students in grades 5–12. The program has had interest in a 4-H archery club and is looking for volunteers to help coach and lead this club.

The mission of Monroe County 4-H Youth Development Programs is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families. UGA Extension agents, staff and trained volunteers keep local communities informed through county Extension offices. The program is part of an Equal Opportunity Institution.
