KE Camps offers a traditional summer camp experience that includes swimming, martial arts, yoga, fitness, arts and crafts, group games, team building, Super Science, community service projects, golf instruction, and tennis instruction. Activities and facilities vary between locations within the KE Camps network. KE Camps runs small and traditional day camps at private clubs.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
KE Camps was established in 1999 and now runs over 230 camps in more than 35 states, serving more than 12,000 campers. Weekly Wacky Wednesdays feature theme days when staff and campers dress up in costume. Thankful Thursdays feature weekly community service projects, and Friday Fundays include themes such as wearing silly socks or dressing as twins. Weekly Thankful Thursday projects include examples such as Cards for Hospitalized Kids, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and A Million Thanks. Staff use SMILE Bands to acknowledge positive attributes and to watch campers grow throughout the summer.
