Georgia 4-H Youth Development Programs are part of UGA Extension, which offers workshops, classes, consultations, certifications, camps and educator resources. In fiscal year 2023, 4-H Youth Development recorded 19,245 programs and 92,733 visitors to 4-H centers, supported by 6,255 teen and adult volunteers.

UGA Extension has provided research and education for more than a century through a network of specialists, agents and volunteers. Its mission is to translate the science of everyday living for families, farmers and communities to foster a healthy and prosperous Georgia. UGA Extension has 331 agents across 159 counties, assisted by 10,009 trained volunteers, and made 1,808,305 face-to-face contacts with Georgians in fiscal year 2023. In that same year, 4-H Youth Development had 129 agents, 1,183,125 face-to-face contacts and 173,505 4-H’ers.
