Camp Calvin at Calvin Center

Camp Calvin at Calvin Center includes camping, equestrian and horseback riding, hiking to explore the countryside, water recreation, and team building sessions. The program’s equestrian options include recreational horseback riding lessons, trail rides, therapeutic horseback riding, and therapeutic horseback riding lessons, along with AAHS, CHA, and PATH clinics.

Calvin Center opened its property in 1960 for two weeks of summer camp and has hosted summer camp programs for kids for more than 60 years. For the past 20+ years, many participants have come for therapeutic horseback riding. Calvin Center offers both adult and youth programming and hosts more than 21,000 guests annually. Its equestrian program is a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Therapeutic Riding Program and includes superb equestrian programs such as recreational and therapeutic riding. Calvin Center is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, and its mission statement is “Sparking growth through enriching retreats and outdoor adventures.” The organization also uses the tagline “Space Apart for Changing Lives.”
