Liberty County 4-H Youth Programs

Liberty County 4-H Youth Programs include 4-H Summer Camps, 4-H Specialty Clubs held after school, and Healthy Living Programs such as Walk Georgia. The program is part of the broader services that also offer soil and water tests and a private pesticide license.

The mission of the Liberty County Agriculture & Natural Resources program, which includes Liberty County 4-H Youth Programs, is to teach people how to improve their use of plants, animals, and the environment. It assists individuals in making critical decisions concerning their lives, their businesses, and their communities, cultivates knowledge and identifies emerging needs, provides unbiased, researched information, and facilitates partnerships to serve the citizens of Liberty County. The program is a collaboration between Georgia county governments, the USDA, and the University of Georgia's colleges of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences and Family & Consumer Sciences.
