Camp All-American offers week-long summer camp experiences that include activities such as pools, ziplines, dance parties, games, and chants. The camp has added new camps, activities, pools, and ziplines over more than 30 summers. Camp All-American sees more than 10,000 kids from Metro Atlanta and across the Southeast every summer.

Camp All-American started in 1989 with a couple of hula hoops and an above ground pool. It is a day camp that operates for 10 weeks every summer and is a ministry of Perimeter Church. The mission of Camp All-American is: “We create extraordinary environments that discover, develop, and deploy lifetime disciple-makers.” At the heart of camp is the gospel and a belief in “Good News.” Camp All-American states that it cares deeply for every camper because it believes God cares deeply for every camper and expresses a desire to display a loving God who wants the best for people and desires for them to experience joy, security, and community.
Counselors at Camp All-American are carefully selected and thoroughly trained, and college-age counselors are recruited to join the summer team. The staff is described by the camp as the “secret ingredient” of camp. Local families participate in a “Host Homes” program where they house out-of-state counselors.
Camp All-American exists as a ministry of Perimeter Church and began with the goal to serve local Johns Creek families in a fun way. The Camp All-American Scholarship Fund exists to serve local families who cannot afford to experience camp and to get as many kids to camp as possible despite financial, circumstantial, or other setbacks that could hinder them from attending. The camp notes that there is significant need within 10 miles of its Perimeter campus.
Parents have shared that their children were well taken care of and safe, and they praised the support staff and facility. Some parents described Camp All-American as the “best summer camp in Atlanta” and said their kids from ages 5–15 all loved it. Parents reported that their children loved camp so much they asked to attend additional weeks, and some said their kids started counting down to camp before the end of school. Several parents commented on the organization, high energy, and warm welcome at camp, and one parent compared the first day experience to Disney World with music and greeters. Other parents mentioned that their children came home praying, reciting Bible verses, and that they saw personal growth connected to the camp experience.
