The Art Center Summer Camps include specific sessions such as Week 8 Grades 3-5 Drawing & Painting, Week 9 Grades 3-5 Drawing and Painting, and Week 9 Ceramics Camp Grades 4-8. Additional related programs at The Art Center include Creator Circle on Thursday evenings, Teens' Writing Camp: FEAR, a Bob Ross Workshop with Jae Montano, and a Winter Holiday Market.

The Art Center was founded in 1996 as the Warsaw-Ocee Arts Center, changed its name to the Johns Creek Arts Center in 2006, and in 2024 rebranded as The Art Center. Its mission states that it is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion through exceptional arts programming, enhancing the quality of life for those in the community. The Art Center has an expansive outreach program that conducts classes and workshops in more than a dozen locations in surrounding communities and works collaboratively with other local non-profits, with a focus on reaching segments of the population that are conventionally neglected and excluded from quality arts programming. It has been recognized by the Georgia Senate, House of Representatives, Fulton County Board of Commissioners, and the City of Johns Creek for its commitment to the community, is the second busiest arts center in Georgia in terms of programming, and is one of only five Legacy partners in Fulton County.
