The church states the mission, “Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously in, for, and with this community.” Its community involvement includes partnerships with Meals on Wheels, a soup kitchen, Blessings in a Bookbag, and a Community Care prescription program, with reported service such as weekend meals for more than 80 elementary children each week, over 18,000 people fed in the soup kitchen in one year, and more than 170 Meals on Wheels deliveries each week. One member, Duffey C., describes the church as a place where they “offer my empty cup to God and he fills it to the brim” and “a fountain that never runs dry.”
