About
Five Star Academy offers after-school programs, summer camps, enrichment programs, and homework support. The program uses a curriculum-focused approach with hands-on learning experiences and integrates creative activities into the curriculum to support both academic and social development. It includes a safe, fun, and enriching curriculum for children from infants through school-age, with passionate educators and caring staff, including consistent, loving caregivers for babies and a toddler program with age-appropriate learning and play, as well as after-school and summer options that blend enriching activities, homework support, and time to connect with friends.

• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday from 6:30am to 6:30pm
The director, Kameshia Cochran, began her career with Five Star in 2013 and has more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education. The director also serves as a LITTLE Grant Coach with DECAL, supporting early language development within Five Star. The program’s stated mission is “Partnering with Families, Building Brighter Futures.”
