Otis Redding Foundation Youth Music Programs are part of the Otis Redding Foundation’s work with young people in music, writing, and instrumentation. With its roots in music, the program offers ways for youth to exercise their talents and expand their abilities.
• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
The Otis Redding Foundation was established in 2007. The Foundation’s mission is to empower, enrich, and motivate all young people through programs involving music, writing and instrumentation. Each partnership and program sponsored since its inception in 2007 supports the philanthropic commitment of Otis Redding to empower and enlighten all young people to fulfill their dreams. The Foundation was founded by Mrs. Zelma Redding, widow of Otis Redding, in 2007. The Otis Redding Center for the Arts, where the programs are based, is not open to the public.
