Junie B. Farms Camps & Workshops offers summer camps, birthday parties, seasonal workshops, and farm tours that include pictures with the goats and other goat activities. The program includes goat yoga, hands-on goat care, gardening, floral design classes and floral workshops, as well as sourdough bread making, lotion-making, soap-making, goat milk, and candle making workshops.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Registration for summer camps starts on January 1, 2025.
• Price: Birthday parties are priced at $180 for two hours with an $80 deposit. Sourdough bread making workshops cost $25 per person with a minimum of 5 participants. Soap-making workshops cost $20 per person with a minimum of 5 participants.
Since 2019, Junie B. Farms has been sharing Nigerian Dwarf goats with families through camps, parties, and workshops. The farm is known for breeding and selling quality, healthy, registered Nigerian Dwarf goats and offers goat yoga sessions with these goats. Summer camps at Junie B. Farms teach responsibility and teamwork through hands-on goat care and gardening and use the Love-Grow-Help motto as a guide. Floral design classes use seasonal blooms from the farm, and lotion-making workshops use fresh, natural ingredients from the farm, including in workshops that create goat milk soaps, lotions, and candles. The goal for the farm is to provide a place for families to learn about goats and gardens, and it was inspired by a desire to share a passion with kids and families within the community.
