About
Youth Enrichment Summit (YES!) summer day camps are part of the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, Inc. programs. The Agency hosted the innovative Youth Enrichment Summit (YES!) summer day camps at five sites throughout Southwest Georgia: Bainbridge, Blakely, Camilla, Moultrie, and Sylvester. The purpose of Twenty-26 YES! is to provide youth ages 12-14 comprehensive services that promote lifelong economic security and self-sufficiency as part of the Agency’s mission context.

Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, Inc. was chartered on September 27, 1965. The Agency is a charitable private non-profit organization that employs approximately 550 individuals and serves 21 counties through an estimated annual budget of $30 million. Its mission is to collaborate with community partners to provide low-income individuals comprehensive services that promote lifelong economic security and self-sufficiency. Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, Inc. is designated as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the IRS. The website supporting this program is supported in part by grant funding through the Community Services Block Grant, Head Start, and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program from the Office of Community Services and the Office of Head Start within the Administration for Children and Families. Three major service categories define the array of services provided by the Agency: Community Services, Child Development, and Housing & Energy, and services are provided through a network of Neighborhood Service Centers and Head Start Child Development Centers located throughout the service area.
