Steppin’ Out Performing Arts (SOPA) GA was founded in 2017 and is celebrating its 10th season in Newnan. The studio is co-owned and operated by Cassie Jackson and Lindsey Archer, and instructor Kalyn Washington also teaches there. Steppin’ Out Performing Arts is licensed by Music Together LLC, and offers Music Together classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them. The studio’s mission is to train and nurture students, build confidence, teach essential life skills, and develop lasting relationships in a safe and loving environment.

Cassie Jackson and Lindsey Archer are frequent contributors to the local community arts scene and have produced performances at the Wadsworth Theater and other local venues, including The Little Mermaid, Polar Express, and Seussical. Families have shared that their children enjoy the classes and camps, that Mrs. Cassie keeps children engaged and eager to return, and that she is patient and kind with young dancers. When families arrive for class, they check in at the front on the iPad, help their dancer get settled, and find a cubby for their things, with shoes and water bottles labeled.
