D.E.E.N.O.S. Planet Gymnastics

D.E.E.N.O.S. Planet Gymnastics offers gymnastics, tumbling, trampoline, and related activities including Jungle Gym, Junior Gym, Girls Gymnastics, Cheer Tumbling, Tramp & Tumbling, Team D.E.E.N.O.S., camps, and parties. The program includes equipment sized for appropriate ages, in ground pits, and loose foam as part of its state-of-the-art training setup. Programs combine fun with learning.

• Schedule: Current office hours Monday–Thursday, 4:00–8:00pm

D.E.E.N.O.S. has been serving the Effingham community and beyond since 1997 and started competing in 1999. Since D.E.E.N.O.S. started competing, its athletes have earned countless State, Regional, and National titles. The current D.E.E.N.O.S. Planet Gymnastics facility opened in December 2003 and is the largest training facility of its kind south of Atlanta. The mission of D.E.E.N.O.S. is “Educating Children in a Positive Sports Environment,” with a stated goal to help every child reach their full potential and to care about the whole child: mind, body, and soul. The mission also states that the program aims to help children establish a lifelong love of physical activity by combining fun with learning and expresses gratitude for the opportunity to help children grow. The staff is described as energetic people who love what they do, who undergo regular background checks, and who attend training clinics across the U.S., spending hours outside the gym learning, researching, and improving their skills.
