Bright Learning Academy School Age Chinese Program

Bright Learning Academy School Age Chinese Program is part of Bright Learning Academy’s inquiry-based, foreign language offerings. The program immerses children in a foreign language environment as part of its school-age Chinese focus.

• Schedule: Hours Monday–Friday, 7:00am to 6:30pm

Founded in 2020, Bright Learning Academy is co-founded and led by veteran bilingual educator Jialing Hsu, who has over 25 years of experience in early childhood education. Jialing holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and has experience in both American and international education systems, including 13 years as a pre-kindergarten teacher in Dunwoody and earlier roles in Taiwan as a preschool director and certified middle and elementary school English teacher. The Roswell location is directed by Jialing Hsu, and the Norcross location is directed by Jenny Hsu. Bright Learning Academy states that it develops children to become global citizens and lifelong learners through inquiry-based learning and foreign language education and envisions a school that values multiculturalism, embraces the whole child, and celebrates children’s curiosity. The program notes that, by immersing children in a foreign language environment, it supports cognitive development, enhances focus, and encourages a global perspective from an early age. Bright Learning Academy is quality rated and grew out of Jialing’s recognition of a strong community need in Norcross and Peachtree Corners for an early learning center that combines inquiry-based learning with foreign language immersion.
