Discover Science Center offers day camps and summer camps that focus on science activities. The program also runs Girl Scout badge and fun patch workshops, science education for homeschoolers, after-school programs, Saturday science, parents' night out events, and science birthday parties. In addition, Discover Science Center provides in-school field trips, science education at amazing destinations, and a Marine Biology Program.

The program’s mission is to serve the community by providing fun and interactive educational experiences and opportunities related to science in order to inspire and support a child's passion for learning. Discover Science Center describes its activities as developed by scientists and educators and notes that its educators come to schools. The program highlights science education at amazing destinations and fun and engaging educational activities, and uses the phrase “Expanding Minds. Inspiring Futures.” to describe its focus.
