About

JEA Camp Savannah includes service learning projects and a camp-wide Shabbat (Jewish Sabbath) Celebration. Every Friday morning, campers gather together for this camp-wide Shabbat Celebration, and a hot lunch is provided each Friday for campers. The camp offers diverse specialty programs that teach universal values and encourage campers to explore aspects of Jewish traditions while remaining culturally sensitive to others.

• Ages: 5–15 years old

For over 100 years, the JEA has dedicated itself to ensuring a strong and vibrant Jewish life and community for generations to come. JEA Camp Savannah is a diverse day camp that embraces Jewish values to help build children’s confidence, create long-lasting friendships and develop a strong sense of community, one camper at a time. The camp is open to everyone entering grades K–10th grade, regardless of age, faith, or background. The program focuses on campers’ social, emotional, and intellectual development and infuses the values of Ruach (spirit), Open-mindedness, Chesed (kindness), Kehillah (community), and Sportsmanship into everyday life at camp. The leadership team includes Camp Director DJ Horton, Assistant Director Jackie Laban, and a Camp Registrar. Campers participate in service learning projects that connect them with the broader community.
