About
Gwinnett Aquatics Swim Lessons offers swim lessons, a year round competitive swim team, stroke clinics, a masters program, evaluations, preseason and regular season team activities, travel meets, and a home school program. The home school program includes options ranging from a once-a-week stroke clinic to full participation in the team program. Groups are available for any swimmer who can complete a length of the pool in both freestyle and backstroke, and lessons are available for all ages, including adults.

Gwinnett Aquatics is one of the oldest aquatics programs in the Atlanta area. After operating in pools throughout the county, it merged with Dynamo Swim Club in 1987, ran out of the county-owned Mountain Park pool for seventeen years, and became an independent operation again in 2004. The program states that whatever a family’s swimming needs, Gwinnett Aquatics is a place to start. Coach Hugh Convery is the contact for preregistration meetings for high school aged swimmers.
Gwinnett Aquatics is a member of USA Swimming. It is a SafeSport Certified Club, a 2025 USAS Bronze Medal Club, and a USAS Level 3 Club.
