Sugarloaf Performing Arts

Sugarloaf Performing Arts offers dance and tumble instruction, including ballet training, contemporary dance, and tumble classes for beginning through pre-professional artists. All classes are taught in-studio, and the studio operates as a family-oriented program founded on professional dance technique and training. Students have opportunities to participate in events such as Family Classic Ballet (Sugarloaf Youth Ballet), Sugarloaf Ballet Christmas/Nativity Ballet, and Nutcracker, all held at Gas South Theatre, as well as programs and competitions including Inspire Youth, Shake the Ground (Entire Sugarloaf Youth Ballet) in Savannah, GA, UBC, NYCDA, Gwinnett Ballet Theatre’s “Dracula,” and YAGP.

Online registration for fall classes is open. Nutcracker performances at the Gas South Theatre feature a live orchestra. A Sugarloaf Ballet Company Calendar provides detailed 2025–2026 dates and events, and rehearsal schedules are emailed on Mondays for the following weekend. The stated mission of Sugarloaf Performing Arts is “Professionally inspiring young artists through excellence in arts education,” and this mission is described by the program as a promise to all of its students.
