Sugarloaf Performing Arts

Sugarloaf Performing Arts offers dance and tumble instruction, including elite ballet training and contemporary dance. Students take part in performances such as the Nutcracker at the Gas South Theatre with live orchestra, the Sugarloaf Ballet Christmas/Nativity Ballet, the Family Classic Ballet with Sugarloaf Youth Ballet, and a recital at the Gas South Theatre. Dancers also have opportunities to participate in events and programs such as Dracula (Gwinnett Ballet Theatre’s “Dracula”), Inspire Youth, Shake the Ground, UBC, and NYCDA.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Thursday afternoons and evenings, plus Saturday mornings

Sugarloaf Performing Arts states its mission as “Professionally inspiring young artists through excellence in arts education” and describes this mission as a promise to all students. The studio describes itself as a family-oriented studio founded on professional dance technique and training, offering dance and tumble instruction to beginning through pre-professional artists and giving individual attention to each student. All classes are taught in-studio, online registration for fall classes is open, all Nutcracker performances at the Gas South Theatre are with live orchestra, and rehearsal schedules are emailed on Mondays for the following weekend.
