Suwanee Arts Center Art Classes

Suwanee Arts Center Art Classes offers specific art sessions including Watercolor: Floral, a Bob Ross Painting Class titled “Friday 8/7 Mountain Sunset,” Creative Nature Journaling, and Chinese Watercolor: Fire Horse. Watercolor: Floral meets in two sessions on August 5 and August 12 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the Bob Ross Painting Class: Friday 8/7 Mountain Sunset meets on August 7 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Creative Nature Journaling meets in two Saturday sessions on August 8 and August 15 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and Chinese Watercolor: Fire Horse meets in two sessions on August 12 and August 19 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Suwanee Arts Center was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit art organization under the name North Gwinnett Arts Association and opened its first Art Center in Suwanee Town Center in 2016. The organization’s stated mission is to provide opportunities for artists to thrive, foster art appreciation through education and exhibitions, and serve as a catalyst for dynamic and vibrant community interaction with the arts. The Center also houses the Suwanee Welcome Center and hosts six exhibits in the center along with three major public engagement events, including exhibitions such as the Pop Art x Anime Exhibition and The Art of Light Photography Exhibition. Regular hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with variations for special events, holidays, or inclement weather.
