About
Snapology offers year-round STEAM learning programs where children take part in activities such as robotics, animation, technology projects, and engineering challenges. Programs include hands-on options like stop-motion animation using LEGO bricks and software, robotics build and robot challenge activities, Star Wars and amusement park engineering challenges, and themed and core STEM/STEAM projects using LEGO bricks, K’Nex, and technology. Families can also choose options such as birthday parties, camps and workshops, field trips, memberships, homeschool programs, and specialized programs that include social skills and competition teams.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
Snapology’s mission statement describes the program as providing children’s enrichment with year-round STEAM learning programs that engage children from ages 4 to 14. Programs are offered as after-school programs, summer camps, workshops, field trips, birthday parties, assemblies, and custom events. Snapology is described as the premier partner for STEAM programs and its Girl Scout and Scouts BSA activities are described as “TOP-RATED” and “top-rated programs.” The program provides interactive STEM/STEAM programs for Girl Scout and Scouts BSA groups, supports work toward badges, pins, and awards, and offers Snapology patches at an additional cost for Scout groups that complete programs, with Girl Scout STEM badge-related programs tailored to ensure each step toward earning a badge is met and exceeded. Programs are designed based on research that shows children’s best learning experiences come from actively designing, creating, interacting, and inventing, and a dedicated Snapologist teaches Scout groups as they work in pairs to promote team building. Community involvement includes programs in Discovery Centers, classrooms, and community facilities across the globe, with local Snapology teams hosting classes at local facilities and special events for schools and groups.
Parent and grandparent feedback includes comments such as, “We had Snapology do our son's 5th Birthday party in our backyard and it could not have been a better experience. We got so many compliments from the parents and the kids had an amazing time making great memories,” “My grandkids absolutely love it!,” and “My daughter really enjoyed her time with Snapology!”
