Atlanta School of Gymnastics offers Back Gymnastics Classes, Girls Gymnastics, Boys Tumbling and Strength Training, and Tumbling. The program also includes Preschool Playdates, Special Clinics, and a Summer Camp.

• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Thursday 1:00pm–7:00pm, Friday 2:00pm–7:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm
The Atlanta School of Gymnastics began in 1976 by Tom Cook and has been a member of the community for over 48 years. It was the first training facility in the state of Georgia and has been competing in the USAG program for over 48 years. The program’s mission statement is “Shaping your child’s future since 1976.”
All Atlanta School of Gymnastics coaches are Safe Sport Certified and have their criminal background checked. The leadership team includes founder Tom Cook; ASG Coaching Staff members Marien (Compulsory Coach), Isabella (Gym Stars), Mykal (Xcel Director), Ginger (Optional Director), Taylor (Women’s Team Director), Paula (Xcel Coach and Judge), Jakarie (Optional Coach), Nia, Naomi (Compulsory Lead), and Elijah (Xcel Coach); and administrative leaders Ashley McCracken (HR Director), Taylor McClendon (Women’s Program Director), Jay Conn (Recreational Director), and Raeven Crewe (Preschool Coordinator). Tom Cook was inducted into the Region VIII Gymnastics Hall of Fame in June 2009.
Unique features include a National Choreographer on staff, Coach Ginger Paruka, and the fact that all coaches are Safe Sport Certified with criminal background checks. Competitive results listed for 2026 include 2nd Place Team at Nashville Nights XCEL Bronze, 1st Place Team at Atlanta Centennial Classic XCEL Silver, 1st Place Team at Alabama USA Level 9, 1st Place Team at Alabama USA Level 8, 1st Place Team at Nashville Nights Level 7, and 4th Place Team at Nashville Nights USA Level 6. The program notes “Champions since 1976.”
