About
Midway Kids Ministry includes worship, teaching, small groups, and a variety of fun activities for children. The program also offers a large group session where kids sing, dance, and watch videos or skits that repeat each week’s Bible story and each month’s memory verse. In Elementary, goldfish or Cheez-Its are offered as snacks during the second hour only.

• Schedule: Weekly options on Wednesdays and Sundays, with check-in starting 15 minutes before each listed time
Midway Kids Ministry is part of Midway Church and offers classes where children are grouped by the same grade and gender, such as Kindergarten girls and Kindergarten boys. The program serves children from six weeks old through fifth grade. For birth to 17 months, the ministry offers care to keep kids engaged while parents attend services. For ages 18 months to 2 years, the ministry teaches God’s Word with fun, engaging lessons designed for this age group. For ages 3 to 5 years, children take part in a large group session with singing, dancing, and videos or skits that reinforce the Bible story and memory verse.
Midway Elementary (K–3rd Grade) uses three focus statements: “I need to make wise choices,” “I can trust God no matter what,” and “I should treat others the way I want to be treated.” Midway Preteen (4th–5th Grade) uses the statement “I am growing up!” Midway Kids Ministry states that children are taught God’s Word and are challenged to grow in their relationship with Him every week. The stated mission of Midway Kids Ministry is to offer a place where children from six weeks old through fifth grade can discover and develop a relationship with Jesus, and it is committed to loving children and their families by offering care while teaching them God’s Word every single week.
Midway Church is part of the Southern Baptist Convention. Through the SBC Cooperative Program, Midway Church helps support over 5,000 missionaries in 127 nations around the world. The leadership team for this area lists Leslie as Connections Director. Midway Church states its mission as: “We exist to unite all generations to go make disciples of Jesus.”
