Humane Society Camps

Humane Society Camps offers Humane Education Camps and School Break Camps. Camp participants take part in service activities that help the shelter and its residents, and the program includes ideas to spread the word. One-day full-day camps start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m., and doors open ten minutes before drop-off.

Education is a key part of the Idaho Humane Society’s mission to advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty, and promote humane awareness and compassion. Camp curriculum is developmentally appropriate for a specific age range, and enrollment requests for campers who do not meet the age specifications cannot be accommodated. Full refunds are available until 2 weeks in advance of camp, later requests are reviewed case-by-case, and scholarship applications are open.
