Impact Dance Center

Impact Dance Center offers Wiggle with Me for ages 18 months to 2.5 years, a 30-minute movement, tumbling, and pre-ballet class with a special someone in the classroom. It also offers Tiny Tots for ages 3 to 4.5, Elementary Classes for ages 5 to 7.5, Junior Classes for ages 8 to 13, Teen/Adult Hip Hop for ages 13 and up, and High School Technique for ages 14 and up. Other classes include Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theater, Ballet Combo, Contemporary, Jazz & Lyrical, and competition dance teams by audition or invitation for ages 4.5 and up.

Programs

• Wiggle with Me — 18 months-2.5 years · 30 minute movement, tumbling and pre-ballet class with a special someone helping in the classroom. Suitable for boys and girls.
• Tiny Tots — Ages 3-4.5 · 45 minute combination of classical jazz, ballet, and tumbling technique. Suitable for boys and girls.
• Elementary Classes — Ages 5-7.5 · 45-60 minute high energy classes that combine genres of dance. Suitable for boys and girls.
• Jazz & Lyrical
• Hip Hop — Introduces young dancers to the basic vocabulary and style of hip hop movement. No dance experience is required.
• Tap — Ages 5 and up · Students learn tap-rhythm and timing through warm-up, center, and across the floor training. No experience necessary.
• Musical Theater — Sing, dance and act to Broadway's favorite shows. Emphasizes showmanship and character.
• Ballet Combo — Blends classical ballet with contemporary movement for all skill levels.
• Junior Classes — Ages 8-13 · Dancers work toward gaining movement skills, confidence, expression through movement, basic technique, and body awareness. Suitable for boys and girls.
• Contemporary — Explores organic, often angular movements and syncopated rhythms with a strong base in classical technique.
• Teen/Adult Hip Hop — Ages 13 & up · Learns foundations of technique, rhythm, and musicality and multiple styles of Hip Hop. Suitable for boys and girls.
• High School Technique — 14 & up · Designed for high school dancers to strengthen technique and continue advancing skills.

About the provider

Impact Dance Center says it is a nationally award-winning competition dance studio that encourages personal and developmental growth at an affordable price. Its mission statement says it provides a consistent, high-quality dance curriculum in a family-friendly environment that encourages youth and adults to express themselves through the fine art of dance. The leadership team is Renee or Adrian, and the facility hours are Monday 4:45-9:00, Tuesday 4:30-8:45, Wednesday 4:45-8:00, and Thursday 5:00-8:30.

Family discount and multiple class discount are offered for Fall/Spring semesters only. Families with 2 or more students enrolled in 2 or more classes receive a 10% discount off total monthly tuition. Families with 3 or more students enrolled in 3 or more classes receive a 15% discount off total monthly tuition. Class registration fee is $35 per year per child. Competition dance teams are by audition or invitation for ages 4.5 and up.
