Kyuki-Do Martial Arts of Lake in the Hills offers kids martial arts programs that include Explorers (3–4) and Builders (5–6) “Mommy & Me” style classes, as well as a Leaders (7–9) program. Students take part in weapons and forms training, can join a Leadership Program, and may participate in DELTA team activities and special events.

For the past 13 years, Kyuki-Do Martial Arts has been helping to shape children into confident, outgoing and ambitious young people. The academy is family-owned and describes itself as an all-inclusive martial arts academy that trains weapons and forms right away and offers Leadership and DELTA team participation.
The leadership team includes Master Rick Bjorkquist and Mr. Nick Riedl. Master Rick Bjorkquist has been training in the martial arts since the age of 14, has been training for 30 years, has been teaching for over 20 years, and earned his 6th Dan Masters rank in Kyuki-do Martial Arts on November 6, 2020.
Kyuki-Do Martial Arts of Lake in the Hills serves families in Huntley, Hampshire, Lake in the Hills, Gilberts, Algonquin, and surrounding communities.
