A Child's View Enrichment House Montessori Preschool offers activities such as pouring, water activities, puzzles, beading, building materials, cleaning, folding, games, and explorative STEM activities. Children take part in letter and sound exercises, sand paper letters, object identification, fine motor and drawing exercises, hands-on practical science activities, books, experiments, geography works, and cultural works. The program includes introduction to the Spanish and French languages, greetings and phrases from around the world, large motor activities, rhythm, dance, musical instruments including voice and piano, and an introduction to reading and understanding music, along with art materials such as crayons, markers, colored pencils, drawing paper, paints, scissors, collage materials, stencils, and easel work.

The daily routine includes indoor and outdoor recess, a car drop off service, line time, group snack, hands-on lessons in small groups, a language lesson, a story, a short rest before lunch, a nutritious lunch, a nutritious snack, and story time. Academic components include beginning reading, phonics, sight word recognition, blends, word families, and mathematical concepts such as money, time, addition, subtraction, measurement, and place order. The Afternoon Enrichment Program prepares Pre-K students for Kindergarten in a fun, small group setting and the program maintains a teacher to student ratio of 3 to 15.
A Child's View Enrichment House Montessori Preschool is a home-based Montessori preschool and a state licensed preschool and daycare facility. The program opened its home preschool in 2005 to provide the community with a loving and nurturing home-based Montessori preschool and has taught and directed A Child's View Enrichment House for 14 years. Its mission states that it follows Maria Montessori's philosophy of recognizing that children learn best in an environment that fosters their freedom to learn and grow, with teachers dedicated to providing an atmosphere that inspires a child's natural curiosity and independence. The mission also states that it is a small and supportive community of children, parents, and teachers that recognizes different learning styles, supports diversity in the community, and has the goal of teaching each child to care for themselves, each other, and the environment in a peaceful way.
The leadership team includes Laurie DiMonte as Owner and Lead Teacher; Heather Brodrueck as Lead Teacher and Speech Therapist; Lisa Rizzi and Garima Syngol as Teaching Assistants; and Katie Hrad, Nicole Tucci, and Rachel Giblin as Teachers. Laurie DiMonte finished Montessori teacher training and continues to take classes in early childhood education. Heather Brodrueck is a graduate of Elmhurst College with a Speech-Language Pathology degree, taught the after school program at Dupage Montessori School in Naperville, Illinois, was a substitute teacher in the 3–6 year old Montessori classroom, and was hired as an assistant teacher in the elementary program at Dupage Montessori School. Lisa Rizzi has an educational background in early childhood development, and Garima Syngol holds a Masters degree from India. Katie Hrad has an elementary education degree from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in Reading from Benedictine University, has experience teaching nature-based preschool in a variety of settings, taught 4th grade in Yorkville, Illinois, several elementary classrooms in Palatine, Illinois, and worked as a reading specialist at a Naperville High School. Nicole Tucci has a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and a Master’s degree from Keller Graduate School of Management.
