Fox Valley Golf Academy Junior Program offers youth golf through camps, leagues, and a rolling curriculum dedicated to youth golf. The program also includes camps and clinics for more experienced players at the high school level. Through Youth on Course, juniors play golf for only $5 on specific days and times.

• Schedule: Youth on Course junior golf available Monday–Wednesday after 4:00 p.m.

Fox Valley Golf Academy states that it provides a “golf journey” for young players beginning at age 6 through 17 with progressive instruction at every stage. The program welcomes youth players new to the game for an introduction to the basics and offers camps and clinics for more experienced players at the high school level. Youth on Course membership provides golf benefits at multiple facilities across the area and is described as providing juniors with access to life-changing opportunities through golf.
The leadership and staff team includes Ben Nachtwey, PGA General Manager; Dan Stahl, GCSAA Head Golf Course Superintendent; Claudine Boettger, PGA Head Golf Professional; Morgan Witte, First Assistant Golf Professional; Russ Hillard, Food and Beverage Manager; Gail Huesmann, Executive Chef; and Jackie Brown, Assistant F&B Manager. Orchard Valley Golf Course, where the academy operates, has been distinguished by Golf Digest Magazine as a 4 1/2 star facility and is noted as one of Chicagoland’s top five courses. The course features an 18-hole, 6,800-yard, par-72 championship layout with four sets of tees offering different levels of challenge, along with a full service dining facility called Orchards Restaurant, and is currently open to the public with the golf course closed for renovation while the driving range remains open, weather permitting. To book a Youth on Course tee time, all rounds must call the course the day-of for walk-up availability, tee times cannot be made in advance, and any tee times made in advance require full payment upon check in.
