Two Rivers Head Start Agency – On-line Tutoring Services offers assistance with paying for on-line tutoring services from certified instructors. The tutoring support is available for children in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Two Rivers Head Start Agency operates under two major grants from the federal government: Head Start and the Community Services Block Grant. The agency’s mission statement is “Empowering communities with exceptional services for children and families.” All centers are licensed to operate by the Illinois Department of Children & Family Services, and the website is supported by Grant Number 05CH011694 from the Office of Head Start within the Administration for Children and Families, a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Two Rivers Head Start is a Community Action Agency that provides a range of services to income-eligible residents of Kane County to help achieve self-sufficiency and provides services for Kane and DeKalb counties and surrounding areas. The leadership team includes Dawn Munson, TRHSA Board Chair. One parent, Karen McCreary, shared that “Two Rivers has so blessed my life, given me reasons to go on, and move forward, no matter how difficult things can seem. Thank you for helping me maintain my dignity, quality of life, and (for) your ever-present compassion.”
