Belle Clair Soccer League started in 1967. The league is governed by a Board of Directors with eight elected and two appointed officers. All officers are volunteers and receive no compensation, and the Program Director, the part-time League Manager, and the Head Referee are the only paid or contracted staff positions. The league also states that it aims to afford the opportunity to every boy and girl within Belleville and the vicinity to participate in the soccer program.
