Southern Illinois Storm Basketball offers basketball teaching and mentoring through IBL Skill Camps and ABL Semi Private sessions. The program is based around instilling fundamentals and teaching the game in a fun, interactive way. It includes a strong devotion to teaching all areas of basketball fundamentals and developing the concepts of teamwork.

The program’s mission is to use basketball as a gateway and to teach and increase the skills of the game and of life. Southern Illinois Storm Basketball focuses on the development, education, and well-being of players, with an emphasis on increasing confidence on and off the court. It provides a learning environment that fosters a friendly, safe, competitive atmosphere where basketball is the centerpiece. Academics is an equally important aspect of the organization, and school and academic achievement are stated as major elements of the player development equation. Sportsmanship, mental toughness, nutrition, faith, self-confidence, and family values are included as parts of the program. The organization is owned by Keith Witter. Southern Illinois Storm Basketball is a supporter of NBA and USA Youth Basketball Standards.
