YMCA Camp Sparrow Summer Day Camp and Specialty Camps includes weekly field trips, swimming, games, art, character development, fitness, team building, and singing. The program also offers several Specialty Camps, including Edible Engineers, Junior Lifeguard, LEGO Specialty Camp (K–2), LEGO Specialty Camp (3–5), Life of a Swiftie, Mermaid, and Icky Sticky S.T.E.A.M. Camp. Camp Sparrow can be attended either 3 days per week or 5 days per week, and campers can attend any 3 or 5 days of the selected week.
• Ages: 5–14 years old (welcoming youth entering Kindergarten, or age 5 through grade 9)
• Schedule: 2026 Summer Camp Season runs June 8–August 14, with camp days from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., optional Before Care from 7:30–8:30 a.m., and optional After Care from 4:30–5:30 p.m.; Specialty Camps run on specific weeks between June 22 and July 31.
• Price: Registration fee is $25 from March 1–31 and $50 beginning April 1; 2026 weekly 3-day rates range from $130–$145 for members and $250–$265 for nonmembers, and 5-day rates range from $185–$200 for members and $360–$375 for nonmembers, depending on inclusion of Before and After Care.
The YMCA states its mission as “To put Christian principles into practice through programs, services and relationships that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.” YMCA Financial Support and CCRRN are available for YMCA Camp Sparrow Summer Day Camp. All registration fees are non-refundable, pre-registration for each week is required, all participants must have a method of payment on file with payments scheduled to run weekly, and billing occurs on Wednesdays. Late payments have a $10 fee and must be paid before the camp week starts, and returned payments have a $25 fee and must also be paid before the camp week starts. Weekly camp cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Youth Development department at [email protected] at least 7 days before the camp week starts; requests received the Monday or Tuesday before the week of camp may be charged but receive a system credit, and if less than 5 days’ notice is given, no refund or system credit is issued. By signing up for the YMCA’s Summer Camp, families acknowledge and agree to the stated cancellation policy. All Summer Day Camp sites (Site 1, Site 2, and Site 3) have reached capacity and are no longer accepting wait list registrations, and Icky Sticky S.T.E.A.M. Camp has reached capacity with a wait list available.
