Parkland College Community Education Youth Programs

Parkland College Community Education Youth Programs offers special-interest classes, summer camps, and family-friendly classes that kids and adults can attend together. Activities in these programs include technology, coding, art, science, robotics, archery, culinary arts, and math through options such as College for Kids: Spring Edition, Youth College For Kids (CFK) Summer Enrichment Camp, and DiscoverU Camps. Classes and camps are taught by professional educators and experts in their fields, and sessions use STEAM-based, interactive activities in small, dynamic classes.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: College for Kids is a two-week enrichment camp; Parkland on Mattis office hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, closed on college holidays

Community Education’s Youth Programs have served students across District 505 for over 40 years. Community Education’s Youth Programs state that they are here to help students find their passions and become lifelong learners through fun, hands-on learning. Scholarships are available for qualifying individuals, and academic accommodations are available for students with documented disabilities. Short-term, solution-focused, and confidential mental health counseling is available for currently enrolled students.
