Legends Junior Golf Program focuses on learning how to play the game of golf. The program is offered as a 4-day camp format that includes instruction over multiple mornings.
• Ages: 5–15 years old
• Schedule: 4-day camps offered June 23–26 and July 21–24 from 8:30 am–11:30 am
The program takes place at Legends Golf Course (IL), which is a 9-hole executive course with a driving range featuring blue grass and covered bays. Each camp is limited to 25 junior golfers, and sign-up forms are available in the golf shop. The stated mission of Legends Golf Course (IL) is “Fun, affordable, and family friendly!” Parents are directed to email Ian Tanzyus at [email protected] to sign up.
The facility’s driving range accepts credit cards at the range ball dispenser. To use the dispenser, participants place a bucket under the machine, pick a size by pressing 1 for small, 2 for medium, or 3 for large, and then swipe a credit card. Every Tuesday at 4:00 pm, the range closes for weekly maintenance.
